Dad's 50th birthday!

Dad turned 50 on May 28th, so we celebrated on memorial day weekend!  It was wonderful and relaxing!  Cole played on the 4 wheeler with Papi and played golf and shot the potato gun too!  We had mexican food and a yummy cake decorated to look like Dad's motorcycle - he loved it!  It also said happy birthday to Rob too, 2 days after Dad's.  It was so nice to spend time with my family in Oswego, we miss them so much!

Mother's day!

This year I had a fantastic Mother's day!  I slept in, until 730am!  Rob and Cole went to get my requested breakfast- orange juice, berries and pastries!  It was great!  They gave me wonderful gifts- an HD Flip recorder, a spa certificate for an all day experience and my favorite flowers- hydrangeas, roses, orchids and calla lillies!  They really spoiled me!  We also went to brunch with Grammie at the Gideon Putnam in Spa Park.  It was great, and Cole loved trying all the different foods!  Then we went for a walk in Saratoga and got gelato to have later with dinner!  It was a beautiful day, although sort of windy!  I love Mother's day!  Rob says that the spa day is for carrying and delivering his children - he is amazed at what women can do!  I'll take it!  I truly do have a wonderful family!

Tulips in the park

Last weekend we went to Washington Park in Albany to take our annual pics with the tulips!  Cole has decided that he does not like having pictures taken, so most of them are pics of him trying to get away while we hold him!  The tulips are so pretty, and there are so many different kinds.  Enjoy!

Visit to Oswego

Cole and I went to Oswego last week to see everyone.  It was wonderful!  We went to Rudy's and Bev's and threw rocks, which Cole loved!  Cole also helped Papi in the garage - sort of!  It was wonderful to see Dad, he is looking better every day!  Cole also learned how to say "Nate"!  Uncle Nate was very proud!  We miss you!

Easter!

Cole loved his easter basket, and he also got new jammies, as you can see!  Superman!  We had a great dinner with Grammie, and I made my traditional Key Lime pie!  Yum!  It was a cold and windy day, but at least it was sunny!

Golfer!

Rob has been teaching Cole how to golf since he was about 6 months old.  He bought him a kids Nike wedge, and Cole teethed on it until he could stand and start swinging it!  Recently, Rob got Cole the new kids set of Tiger Nike red clubs!  It is the only thing Cole wants to do when we go outside!  He can say golf club and golf ball, and he is REALLY good at swinging!  He knows how to square up the club, and he hits it every time!  He and Rob love to watch the golf channel together, and this morning Cole learned how to say "Tiger"!  I think Cole deserves a trip to the driving range with Daddy!  Cole's favorite word to say is "ball".  He points them out wherever we go, baseball, basket ball, golf ball, soccer ball!  He won't stop saying it until you notice it too!  I have a sports nut on my hands already!

Soccer Tots

We decided to take Cole for a trial class today to try out soccer tots.  It was really fun, and I think Cole is going to like it.  The next session starts in a few weeks, so he will be even more ready then.  I think this will be a good thing when the baby gets here that Rob and Cole can do together.  They run an obstacle course, learn stretching, kick into the goal, do coordination drills etc.  It was really cool and it will get Cole interacting with other kids a little more!
