A few weekends ago we got up early and went with Grammie and Aunt Linda and Uncle Bruce who were visiting to the Saratoga Race track to watch the horses excercise. It is really great to watch them at this time, before the track is really open. They have brunch on the porch, tram tours of the backstretch, or you can bring your own food and just walk around and watch the horses and jockeys everywhere. It really is nice and relaxing. Cole loved watching all the horses and we were up for the day anyway!! What a nice saturday morning!

Harborfest 2009
I realize I have been a little slow in updating the blog - for obvious reasons - so here is a few shots of our trek to Harborfest this year. We have not been in about 6 or 7 years, so I really wanted to go see fireworks, since we missed them on Allie's Birth-Day. It was fun- we got to see Jim, Keri, Carter and Gavin and the Conways which is always so fun! My parents and grandparents loved to hang out with the kiddos and the fireworks did not disappoint!! Cole also had his first snowcone - yum!

New Swingset!
Allison Jane Newson has arrived!
I am so happy that she is finally here! Only 2 days past her due date, and born on the 4th of July! Our little firecracker! I went into labor at 145am, contractions every 10 monutes that woke me up. We waited to call the doc until they had gone on for 2 hours, and by that point they were getting closer! The ride to the hospital was a little uncomfortable - they were about every 4 minutes then! We got there around 4 am and I was 6 cm. The doc got there at 5am and I was 8cm! I pushed 3 times and she was out at 6am on the dot! The doc said that I must have really wanted her out - there was no stopping me once I got started! My mom and sister were here to visit, they came the afternoon before, so I think she was just waiting for her aunt to be here! Allison came so fast that it was only Rob and I in the delivery room this time! Cole is getting used to his new sister, he loves to give her hugs and kisses. We are so blessed to have a healthy baby girl! I think she looks just like Cole did, and she has one of Rob's dimples on her right cheek! So cute!
