Father's Day
We had a great Father's day weekend this year! Dad, Mom, Nate, Papa and Nana came up to visit on Saturday. We went out to dinner at the Old Bryan Inn and had a great time relaxing at our house! On Sunday, Rob got some golf time in and we had dinner at Grammie's house! What a wonderful weekend!

Allie's room!
We finally finished Allie's room! Now she can come! The color pink is named "silk ribbon". I was originally staying away from pink stuff, but I got carried away and I LOVE it! I made the button trim foe the shade valances and mom is making her initials to hang over the crib with buttons on canvas. I can't wait to see how they turned out!
Out Boating!
Last weekend we took our boat out on Lake George for the first time! Last summer we only took it out on Saratoga Lake, and then Racquette Lake, so this was a fun experience! It was a beautiful day and Cole was so excited! All he kept saying was Daddy, boat!! It was a little windy coming back in, so it got bumpy - but no labor pains! Bummer! Our next door neighbors took their boat out too and we drove around together for a while taking a tour of the lake. We were out there for about 5 hours, and Cole even took a nap - amazing!

Rob's 29th!
Rob turned 29 this past saturday and he had a great birthday weekend! He went rafting with the boys on saturday and then we had dinner at Grammie's house. I bought his favorite cake from The Bread Basket in Saratoga - Carrot Cake of course! Cole and I got him the Garmin for golf which he was able to use the next morning when he played. It was a fun and relaxing weekend! Only one more year to 30! Wow! Notice Cole's shirt - it says "son of superdad!"
Cole's new bed
About 3 weeks ago we switched Cole to his new big boy bed! We wanted him to be okay with it well before the baby came. We had him help us move the crib to the baby's room, which had him a little confused. He started to get upset, until I brought out the "ball" sheets and Rob started putting the bed together. Cole loves his new bed and did very well the first night! He fell out once, I have no idea how since there are bed rails, but he went right back to sleep. Since then we have had no problems, he goes down well for naps and bedtime. He had never tried to get out so far. I am so happy that that hurdle is over with, what a relief! I am so glad that the painting is done too - I painted the bed and dresser navy to match the stripes in his room - it took forever! 1 coat of tinted primer and 2 coats of the paint- never again! I hate to paint! The cool thing about the bed though is that it has been passed down for 3 generations - it was my uncle's, then mine, then Nate's and now it is Cole's! They just don't make things like they used to!
Dad's 50th birthday!
Dad turned 50 on May 28th, so we celebrated on memorial day weekend! It was wonderful and relaxing! Cole played on the 4 wheeler with Papi and played golf and shot the potato gun too! We had mexican food and a yummy cake decorated to look like Dad's motorcycle - he loved it! It also said happy birthday to Rob too, 2 days after Dad's. It was so nice to spend time with my family in Oswego, we miss them so much!
